About Fr. Janusz Roginski, SAC

Father Janusz Roginski, SAC, was born in Pisz November 19th, 1971, Poland. He entered the Society of Catholic Apostolate (Pallottine Fathers) in 1990. From 1991- 1997 he completed his philosophical and theological studies in the Pallottine Seminary in Otarzw and in 1997 received his Masters of Divinity from the Catholic University of Warsaw. In 2004 he received his Licentiate of Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. Father Janusz was ordained in 1997 and worked as an associate Pastor in Kutno, Poland. Upon coming to Canada, Father served as an associate Pastor at St. Ambrose Church in Cambridge from 2006-2008. In 2008, Father moved to St. Anthony of Padua Church in Hamilton, where he was the pastor until 2018. Then he served as pastor at St. Gabriel’s Church in Burlington (2018-2021). From August 2021 to July 2023 he was the pastor of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish in Port Colborne in the Diocese of St. Catharines. On August 18th 2023 he was appointed pastor of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish in Thorold, Ontario. Father Janusz speaks several languages and is fluent in Italian. He loves nature, especially waterfalls.
